When I show up to take pictures of you (your friends, family, any way you want), I’ll capture all the posed shots you want but will focus on getting the candid shots. I can include whatever is important to you, whether it is the family dog, cow or a special item. I photograph you in your natural environment or at a favorite hangout place.

For a family portrait, it is not so important that everyone wears the same color, but that they wear the same kind of tones. Solid-colored clothing is best, as large designs or logos distract from the people. If you are wanting any black and white portraits, textured material is good. This would include denim or corduroy, jeans or jacket. Bring a minimum of two changes of clothes, and don’t forget the appropriate footwear. Going barefoot could be another option.

Because children can be active, I will interact with them, trying to help them relax and take photos of them being themselves.
